House Atreides has proven to be the most likely choice to oversee Arrakis; Our spice production is kept at a constant high output rate, our political influence is considerable and we can effectively manage our territory without serious issue.
Unfortunately this popularity makes us the subject of envy to the other major factions planetside. Enemy spies cause disturbances despite our efforts to capture them, our political authority is being overtly undermined and our borders tested.

Atreides intelligence is good to a degree but I opt to conduct raids into major faction territories close to my border outposts. By primarily pushing into through the northern and central regions to capture strategic terrain, we can take on the weaker smuggler forces. This victory against the smugglers should enable House Atreides to successfully achieve a political victory over the Fremen and House Harkonnen factions.
