There are actually a LOT of teams that can beat the main rooms, as there are no fast enemies.
The caveat to this is the boss - he can ONLY be hit by critical attacks. So you may think to bring your Goblin team for some critical-mania. Good idea, but you better hope you kill him on your first turn, because his first attack is a mass-disease. Unless you are in boss mode and are yet somehow still new to the game (a paradox if there ever was one), you would know that Disease = No Critical. No critical and the crafty wizard will tear you apart. This is what makes the Undead Team more viable in my opinion. They may be a tad slower, but they are much more likely to survive through the duration.
