Dungeon Crawler + Turn-based, Tile based Magic Tactics – Summoners Fate Demo – #01
Summoners Fate is an Indie, Turn-based, tile based, Roguelike Dungeon Crawler where you are the aspiring mage lord, gathering cards and coins to buy and build your magical army.
Be the Mage lord you always wanted to be! Watch?
Think Magic the Gathering, but as an actual RPG where you wander around dungeons gathering your power battling monsters before the showdown with the enemy summoner.
In another difference, your deck is smaller, but your mage is a piece on the board as well, able to move and attack too!
No more situations of the mage who can’t act here, as the cards are a supplement to your power, not the entirety of what you can do.
As you explore the dungeons born of Procedural Generation, you smash barrels, loot chests and bookshelves, battle enemies, and interact with npcs who might join your party, if you convince them, or if the price is right.
There are also merchants to find, and dice to pickup, which you can use to give you another roll while trying to persuading people and creatures to join your band.
The Dungeon Exploration is fun, and gives Summoners Fate a real Adventure RPG feel, adding to the tactical deck management, serving as a sort of card based stamina system, which resets when you find a campsite and rest.
A bright and cheery Dungeon Crawler with cards, Summoners Fate is a good looking, and good sounding tactical RPG that combines Turn Based Tactics with deckbuilding + Grid based movement in an interesting and fun way. Watch?
Note: This is the demo version of Summoners Fate, thus any encountered bugs or other oddness is not representative of the final product.
Still, Summoners Fate is good, turnbased tactical fun. Watch?
