If you were hooked on Beholder's style, and occasionally short a DM, you probably hooked up with Dungeon Hack. Not your average dungeon generator, it provided you with a decent premise (a floating redhead wants you to bring her orb back) and a lack of choice that propels you into the believable unknown (she doesn't give a crap if you want the job, she just chucks you into the middle of nowhere outside of a TES style dungeon).
Like Rogue, you get a new dungeon every time, so if you like to crawl, this is a simple game that you can play again and again. It lacks the underlying feeling of place that Beholder gives you, but owns the interface and provides a fun gaming experience.
