I know as a game master it can be easy to loose sight of the game part of role-playing games and focus just on the roleplaying and story aspect of things. We play games to have fun. If a player isn't having fun playing their character I feel the DM should work with them to fix this problem at the gaming table. Whether you are playing Dungeons and Dragons or some other tabletop rpg the most important thing at the table should everyone having a good time with the game and their fellows in the gaming group.
