Dungeon Of The Endless Teaser Trailer
Award-winning indie developer Amplitude Studios announced today that its classic rogue-like dungeon-defense game Dungeon of the Endless is coming to Microsoft’s Xbox One. An exclusive Dungeon of the Endless playable demo and video will be highlighted in Microsoft’s ID@Xbox booth at this year’s Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. The Xbox One version will retain all of the key features of the popular PC version – turn-based combat, strategic tower-defense construction, RPG exploration, loot collecting, and eye-catching pixel-based retro graphics – and will be optimized for the Xbox One gamepad.
Dungeon of the Endless was released as an Alpha in Steam’s Early Access program in December 2013, has been downloaded by a massive amount of players, and has garnered enthusiastic feedback and rave fan reviews ever since. A rogue-like dungeon-defense game offering a retro 2D look with modern 3D graphics on PC, Dungeon of the Endless enables players to equip a team, gather resources, construct defenses, and explore an infinite number of dungeons in an effort to reach the planet’s surface. Each time players start a new game, they will experience a totally new, randomly generated map, collect resources just like those found in Amplitude's popular 4X strategy game Endless Space (Dust, Food, Industry, and Science), and battle an armada of alien enemies all in the attempt to escape the dungeon.
