We take an extensive look at the D&D 5E Monster Manual while giving commentary as to what worked for us and what didn't. This D&D monster manual contains more monsters than any previous edition of the games. I was impressed with the flavor and layout of the book. This book may not be our favorite MM visually, but as far as content contained in this tome of beasts, terrors, and monsters it slays all of the competition hands down. Don't get me wrong there is some really great art in this book, but there are some real stinkers that kind of drag down the quality as a whole. Thankfully none of that has any baring on game play of the monsters. One tiny sour note in a symphony of awesome. Our sugestion is to go out and buy your own monster manual for 5th edition dungeons and dragons.
