Dungeons & Drogans 2: Session 28

The Drogans returned to the Seven-Pillared Hall to lay their friend Massimo to rest before diving back into the Well of Demons in search of the remaining Winterhaven captives. They crossed through the open doorway in the Proving Grounds, through the mysterious mist and two more sets of doors until they finally came face-to-face with Maldrick Scarmaker, leader of the Blackfang Gnolls, as he was attempting to complete a demonic ritual.

After a difficult battle, the Drogans defeated Maldrick's demonic servants, disrupted his ritual, saved Winterhaven's dwarven blacksmith, and beat Maldrick into a corner.

However, Maldrick had an ace up his sleeve -- he knew the location of the last Winterhaven captive, Lord Padraig, and used this knowledge as a bargaining chip to negotiate the terms of his surrender.
