Because it's so worth caring about.

A couple of things that I left out...

1. Portal 2! I don't know how I forgot about this. One of my most anticipated titles of the year. The original Portal was more of a test of a new gameplay mechanic that also reeked with personality an atmosphere. (Not that it wasn't awesome, it was.) I can't wait to see what's going to happen with a full team and a big budget behind it's sequel.

2.I'm also very excited for Marvel vs. Capcom 3. MvC isn't quite on the same level gamplay-wise as Street Fighter for me, but sometimes you just wanna do an insane air combo with Captain America and Dante.

3. I was sorely disappointed that Microsoft announced nothing for the XBLA, specifically Game Room. Maybe that's the reason why I was looking forward to their conference? I've been really into the Game Room lately, and I was hoping for some new announcements. Sadly nothing. I guess they'll keep treating it like an unwanted family member just because it didn't make a huge impact when it launched. It's a shame.

4. Rayman Origins!! I didn't see the trailer until after this video, but damn does it look nice! I love the style and I love that Rayman is finally returning to his platforming roots. After watching the trailer, it instantly shot up near the top of my most anticipated games of E3. I didn't get to play too much of the original Rayman when it was released, so I haven't gotten a taste of 2-d Rayman in a long time. I'm pumped, and I hope it lives up to the awesome quality that I found in Rayman 2.

5. I love the idea of classics getting the 3-D/To-go treatment. I know I mentioned Star Fox 64, but just so you guys know I know about all of the titles that have been announced for 3DS so far, and the classics have me just as excited as anything new they can make for it. Well maybe except for Kid Icarus, that just looks too damn sick. NES games in 3-D? Ocarina of time in 3-D? Bring em on! Also, Capcom might get me to buy yet ANOTHER version of Street Fighter 4, because it's coming to the 3DS also. I really shouldn't, but why does 3-D portable Street fighter have to sound so awesome? Probably because it is.

6. I mentioned it briefly, but Kirby's Epic Yarn looks marvelous. The art style is jaw-dropping, and the awesome ways the the levels can be "sewn" look fantastic. Kirby's not as big for me as Donkey Kong or Zelda, but I know he can make a damn good game, and I'm very excited he's getting so much care in his (way too long overdue) Wii debut. Very anticipated.

7.Epic Mickey looks pretty nice, and keeps surprising me with the dark an mischievous tone they are giving Mickey Mouse. I'll be keeping my eye on it.

8. Metal Gear Solid Rising! I don't know how I forgot about this either. Looks very awesome, slicing stuff looks fun. Don't know how it will compare to the rest of the series yet, but I'll be watching it intently.

I'll add more If I think of them. Thanks for watching!
