OK, I think this is a pretty good place to farm EXP, if not the best in the game. There are a number of enemies and as long as things go well, they cannot reach you before you wipe the floor with them, or at least the weaklings will likely be dealt with before the big guy is, and he should only have a sliver of health making him easy to deal with.

What you do is you go to the Everdawn Basin, in the area before the point of no return (and the area after the last blue area block which indicates it's a section you can save in). You jump into a pit, and land on top of a floating chunk of earth that keeps you safe from the big guy, and the small enemies won't hit you so long as you keep spamming Fidget's magic. You should get ~250 hit combo which is a nice bit of bonus EXP in itself. At around level 50, with two ring of the Artisans equipped (each giving 1.2x modifier to EXP gains), you can go up a level every 3 to 5 battles I believe.
