Happy holidays everyone! There are two days of the year that are really important at Implausibly Average: Halloween (Oct 31) and Decemberween (Dec 25). Halloween is the day to get spooky (and also when I got married) and Decemberween is the time you spend with friends and family and probably eat some good food or play a new video game. In that spirit of enjoying the company of our friends, we've made an almost 9 hour long video. Oops.
For Decemberween 2022, Josh and friends (Bug, Eclipse, Pat, & Audiovore) played the Steam version of Dwarf Fortress with a slight gimmick! Josh cannot do anything in-game without getting input from his friends. Like Josh could influence his dwarfs, his friends would need to influence him or else nothing would get done in-game.
We recorded in two sessions, over two nights. Ideally we would have edited this down to a manageable 1-2hrs, but Josh ran out of time. It's the holidays! So, here's an almost 9 hour long video of Josh playing Dwarf Fortress with friends.
