Have you tried Dwarf Fortress yet?

Most of us know at least a little about Dwarf Fortress. It's complicated - that's usually the first thing we know. I read recently that it is essentially the video game industries benchmark when it comes to learning curves for games... I can see that.

I tried learning Dwarf Fortress over the years. There are some Dwarf Fortress tutorials out there, and I should have started there, but previously I simply opened up Dwarf Fortress and said, I bet I can just figure this out... I failed.

Well, recently I learned how to play Dwarf Fortress when I gave some tutorials a try and I am now here to say... If you have not yet tried Dwarf Fortress, I highly recommend you do!

Here are some things that can help get you started with Dwarf Fortress...

GETTING STARTED WITH DWARF FORTRESS:

Both of these tutorial series will help do the trick, so I would say go with either one. They both talk about where to get the game and the setup, but the first series goes into much more detail for that specific aspect. Otherwise...
