Dying Light - Part 9 - Turning The Gas Back On
1Hello everyone and welcome back to Dying Light.
We arrive at the final settlement that Karim told us about. Once we arrive we ask for the money for Rais. The leader here also tells us they have already paid this month and they still have no protection from Rais. We don't want to do this, but we done really have any option.
After collecting all this money for Rais we are not able to head back and collect our Antizin as agreed. On our way back to Rais, Brecken radios and tells us that someone has turned at the Tower. They don't have much time left, we need to get this Antizin and quickly. As we are returning to get the Antizin from Rais Karim radios us and tells us about a missing patrol. We have to find them and find out what happened otherwise we don't get the reward!
We find the missing patrol unfortunately we are too late and they have already been killed by the infected. Karim asks us to search the bodies to look for a blueprint they were carrying. Whilst we are searching the bodies we are attack. There is someone shooting at us from the top of a building. We manage to take this person down and we are rewarded with our first gun. We continue to search the bodies until we find the blueprints to take back with us. As we are about to head back someone contacts us near by asking for help. We check out what's happening, Alexel's son wants to be a runner were his dad works for Rais. Alexel asks us to speak with his son, so we agree to ask around at the tower.
We arrive back to hand in the blueprints to Karim and receive our reward from Rais. Rais is waiting for us inside. When we enter we can see Rais talking to some of his men, everyone seems so scared of him. We hand over the money collected, but Rais only gives us 5 vials of Antizin! Rais gives us an offer of more Antizin in return for Jade! We refuse, the Tower will need to find some other way of getting Antizin. Before heading to the Tower we contact the GRE, they tell us to hand over Jade to get the file they want. Crane still refuses to do this, its Jade life.
On our way to the Tower they radio again saying that the Tower has lost gas power. They tell us about a gas man that could be causing the problem so we find them on the way back. Jeff has built a fortress and is sitting inside. He knows that the gas is out all over the city, he was the one who turned if off. Jeff tells us we can turn the gas back on, but we will need to turn the switches on. Jeff gives us the two locations, and tells us to return when we are done.
Once we have all the gas taps turned back on we head back to Jeff so he is able to open the main pressure gate. Jeff is mad, he's going to blow himself up! We run out of the area and watch as Jeff turns the gas in the city back on. Jeff had his mind set on doing this, there was no talking him out.
Check back next time as we return to the tower with the small amount of Antizin we have collected.
