Wu Act 4.

Playing Defense of Nanman first will allow Ling Tong to arrive with elephant troops in Xia Kou. beating Defense of Nanman and encountering elephants will also have an effect on the Nanman Campaign in a later act. Since Wu troops will be used to them, they won't suffer a morale loss and the elephant cutscene won't play there. It may be the only trigger that affects something in an entirely different act. Like Taishi Ci in the previous act, there's a one-time only trigger that can happen on the playthrough you first recruited Gan Ning that will cause him to appear as reinforcements when Zhu Rong sets the main camp on fire.

Xia Kou changes depending on if you already recruited Gan Ning or not. Gan Ning will be replaced by Chen Sheng, but all of Huang Zu's lines will be directed at Su Fei. Ling Tong only appears if Ling Cao is in danger, so you have to purposefully let him get surrounded and not help him to get him to trigger. Thanks to that and waiting for the ships to collide to trigger Huang Zu's dialogue accusing Su Fei, I spent a lot of time in that stage just wasting time.

Beating Defense of Nanman will have Ling Tong appear as an officer at Chi Bi, along with adding Zhu Ran and Zhuge Jing as sub-officers for Cheng Pu. Gan Ning can also appear here if this is the first playthrough he was recruited.
