In the deepest chamber of a castle filled with perilous traps, Jack and his allies do battle with Tiamat, the fiend of wind. when the beat's fury is silenced, a woman appears seemingly out of thin air, introducing herself as Sophia.

A strong gust of wind signals that the crystal has been revived, but before anyone can celebrate victory, mist creeps from the fiends body and rushes toward Neon. Luckily, Sophia nullifies the attack with her crystal, and although it appears she knows more than she lets on, it is plain she shares the group's determination to slay Chaos.

That alone is enough to earn the woman a place in the band of warriors, and together the five make preparations to set off to their next destination.
