E3 2017, Wireless VR & Antilatency Positional Tracking for Mobile VR & More

E3 stands for Electronic Entertainment Expo. This was the first year that they allowed non industry people to purchase tickets to go. It is a week long event with the showroom floors open 2.5 days of it. If your lucky enough to go you can try out new video games and gaming tech that has not been released yet. Lines can be really long especially for the popular stuff. My wife bought me tickets for my birthday several months ago. They were non refundable. I did enjoy myself but felt like we weren't really getting our money's worth. I don't know if E3 has a winner but I would probably give the 1st place medal to the DisplayLink XR booth showing their wireless VR solution on the HTC VIVE. With a very close 2nd place medal going to Antilatency showing off their Postional tracking system for mobile VR headsets. They announced a lot of cool VR titles coming soon to VR. Doom VFR looks the coolest to me but I didn't get a chance to play it.
