Back in the before times, there was no Youtube. If you wanted to see a game's ending, you had to beat it. That is, unless you recorded it, as I did.
Why? Maybe you wanted to show a friend how to beat a game (or prove you could). Maybe it was a rental and you wanted to relive the glory after
returning the game. Maybe on a rainy Sunday there was nothing to watch. But who would watch that, you ask? Dude, you are literally here. Millions of other gameplay videos online stare at you judgingly for asking.

I must have missed powering up somewhere and it was impossible to beat the last boss, I determined, unless I restarted from the beginning of the game. I recall being highly disappointed I wasn't able to beat it and didn't have the cash to rent it further, nor the spirit to restart. This always bothered me because I never got back to it.
