Thrand test the early seax from Medieval Shoppe based on the Vimose bog on Funen, Denmark finds from 200 to 300 AD. This early iron age design was used against the Romans by the Germanic tribes and is tested on an analog gel head like the Forged in Fire kill test! Thrand also gives update on a Viking age forge competition being held at Asfolk Viking martial arts done completely in Viking age forge conditions and judged by Thrand.
