Hearthstone's new game mode Duels brings with it a refreshing way to play the game. It is best described as a mix of Arena and Dungeon Runs in the Solo Adventures mode. You start your deck with 15-16 cards and you have the option to choose from a selection of hero's. Each hero has a unique power that fits to each deck and player style. Throughout the game and as you progress, you will unlock more treasures that grant you special powers. Also, you will have a choice to choose between different loot packages that you can tinker your deck around.
You get a total of 3 lives and then your run ends. When it is fully released, it will cost $1.99 to go for a Heroic Run which offers similar rewards to the ones in classic Arena. There is a Normal Mode as well for casual players who don't want to spend money.
I think this game mode will definitely shine as it is a lot more fun than Arena because you have a chance for random treasures and different hero's.
You can get early access to this mode by watching ANY hearthstone Twitch streamer until November 11th , 2020.
