Earthly Delights (https://www.mobygames.com/game/1206/earthly-delights/) was probably the only text adventure game ever published by Datamost and one of the few text adventure games with music! The game uses the Apple Pascal system, but I'm not certain when does the copy protection check happen during the boot sequence.
