Remember how the cast of Crazy Rich Asians was telling you it’s the Black Panther for Asians? Well Easter Sunday is the Black Panther for comedians if not comedies altogether.

Jo Koy’s Easter Sunday is the only comedy playing in theaters this summer and could be the last comedy ever released in theaters. If Easter Sunday doesn’t get critical acclaim and isn’t a sleeper hit at the box office, there won’t be any more movies starring comedians who haven’t already proved success (Kevin Hart). As such I won’t be doing an Easter Sunday review or Easter Sunday reaction anytime soon.
