In this Song, You will learn about :
1. What is Acciaccatura?
An ornament applied to any of the main notes of arpeggiated chords, either a tone or semitone below the chord tone, struck simultaneously with it and then immediately released. (Red Color)
2. How to play Acciaccatura correctly?
By simply performed before the main note as beat. Whether the note should be played before or on the beat is largely a question of taste and performance practice. Commonly the note intervals is between half tone or whole tone.
3. When is the perfect time to use Acciaccatura?
At the first bar particularly or in any beat where the Composer want to play it.
4. How Acciaccatura works in embellish music?
It works well as a leading tone or voicing chords. The B note can be played as leading tone to C note by Acciaccatura or can be played as 9th voicing note in Amaj9 chord.
5. Is it "Koreans" use Acciaccatura mainly as music embellishment?
Apparently they do. Since it's easy, simple, and sweet ornament to add within the song and gives much more color to their music. Especially when I said they have the most romantic melody in contemporary piano music.
