Eclipse Dataspace Connector - How to build data spaces
The session gives, to form a common understanding of the data spaces concept, a brief introduction of data space architecture models like Gaia-X and International Data Spaces. People might have heard about it recently, but have been left with some questions. The session will address these questions by demonstrating how concepts have been adapted within the Catena-X and Mobility Dataspace. The Eclipse Dataspace Connector, a new OSS project of the Eclipse Foundation that solves various challenges of such data spaces, is introduced after this initial overview. The fundamental idea and functionalities are highlighted, and the value proposition is explained, starting with the basic project structure and organization. The sessions concludes with a wrap-up and outlook for the upcoming development phases.
This session's attendees will gain a better understanding of the multiple discussions about building data spaces and how the Eclipse Dataspace Connector may be used to support these activities.
