Educational Reform: Tier system instead of a year system
What is the purpose of school in a society?
function of schools in society
There is a serious practical difficulty in implementing this system, given for example with 15 subjects, and 9 tiers for each, that results in 135 different classes that any student can be in. That is 135 possible classrooms that need to be accounted for, each having any number of students ranging in theory from zero, to the amount of students in the school. There is a big problem in managing potential overlap where the same person is in let's say history 2 and math 5, and those two classes are taking place at the same time in parallel in different physical rooms. So somehow the system needs to be managed in such a way as to minimize potential overlap, and to somehow account for those students who can't go to multiple different classes at the same time. This needs to be tested in real-life, I can't say it would or would not work in pure theory as of this moment. There are lots of real-world assumptions that can be made, such as a person who is on math tier 8 is unlikely to also be in physics tier 1 at the same time, thus the two classes can take place at the same time without any students being assigned to both classes at once. This requires experimentation in the real world, some empirical evidence needs to be provided for how well this system would function in practise. So let's do it.
This speech is a new rendition of the previous version, rather it's a separate speech entirely. Two different speeches that have nothing to do with each other other than being on the topic of education:
