During the game I encountered several moments where the cutscenes froze and the duel is one of them.

In this video.. Here's how to win the duel between Nova and Seign:

(The English and Italian dialogues are a little different, you can see that it was translated so-so... they could honestly have done better.)

I don't know if it's connected or not but when I won I had chosen the first option during the dialogue with Perrielle (making the promise), I believe that victory cannot be achieved otherwise. I could clearly be wrong, but that's what I think.

Nowa LV 25 with Ruby Ring & Rune of HP 15% and the best gear you have.

Phase 1 is scripted:
Turns 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 - Attack, Counter, Attack & Counter & Break

Phase 2:
It depends on the dialogues:
If Seign says "Try me!" - Counter.
If Seign says "Here i come Nowa!" - Counter.
If Seign says "In the name of House Kesling, I will bring you in line!" - Counter.
If Nowa says "I'm Sorry, Seign, But you're not getting in my way." - Attack.

Phase 3 (under the bridge):
Turns 1 & 2 - Attack & Counter
Then it depends on the dialogues:
If Seign says "Fight harder Nowa!" - Attack.
If Seign says "I will not hold back!" - Counter.
If Nowa says "I'll never win if i stay on the defensive!" - Attack.
If Nowa says "He's tough..." - Counter.

Phase 4 (Is almost scripted):
Turns 1 & 2 - Counter & Counter
I then won by selecting (3) Attack and (4) Break in subsequent turns.
I was probably lucky in the end having a favorable turn for Nowa, so I could charge the yellow bar.

In phase 3 and 4 make sure that the gauge indicator is full or inside the yellow line before using the Break, if not you will have to attack as soon as there is the right opportunity (with the dialogues) to increase the gauge.
Using Break during a turn that is bad for Nowa is useful for avoiding damage, so take advantage of this as well. (as in video)

In questo video.. Ecco come vincere il duello tra Nowa e Seign:

(I dialoghi inglesi e italiani sono un po' diversi, si vede che è stato tradotto così così.. avrebbero potuto fare di meglio sinceramente.)

Non so se sia o meno collegato ma quando ho vinto avevo scelto la prima opzione durante il dialogo con Perrielle (fare la promessa), credo che non si possa ottenere la vittoria altrimenti. Potrei sbagliarmi chiaramente, ma è quello che penso.

Nowa LV 25 con Anello di rubino e Runa con HP 15% e il miglior equipaggiamento che avete.

Fase 1 è scritta:
Turni 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 - Attacco, Counter, Attacco & Counter & Libera

Fase 2:
Dipende dai dialoghi:
Se Seign dice "Mettimi alla prova!" - Counter.
Se Seign dice "Preparati, Nowa!" - Counter.
Se Seign dice "Nel nome di Casata Kesling, ti farò cambiare idea!" - Counter.
Se Nowa dice "Mi dispiace, Seign, ma non ti lascerò intralciarmi". - Attacco.

Fase 3 (sotto il ponte):
Turni 1 e 2: Attacco & Counter
Poi dipende dai dialoghi:
Se Seign dice "Mettici più impegno, Nowa!" - Attacco.
Se Seign dice "Non mi tratterrò!" - Counter.
Se Nowa dice "Non vincerò mai se rimango sulla difensiva!" - Attacco.
Se Nowa dice "Nngh... è forte..." - Counter.

Fase 4 (è quasi scritta):
Turni 1 e 2: Counter & Counter
Ho quindi vinto selezionando (3) Attacco e (4) Libera nei turni successivi.
Probabilmente sono stato fortunato alla fine avendo un turno favorevole per Nowa, così ho potuto caricare la barra gialla.

Nella fase 3 e 4 assicuratevi che l'indicatore della gauge sia piena o dentro la linea gialla prima di usare Libera, se così non fosse dovrete attaccare appena c'è l'occasione giusta (con i dialoghi) per aumentare la barra.
Usare Libera durante un turno sfavorevole a Nowa è utile per evitare i danni, quindi approfittate anche di questo. (come in video)
