This is the walkthrough for the Main Quest Breaking the Ice. In this quest, you have to find a way to break the ice blocking your path. You recruit Isha to your party to help break the ice.

I complete a side quest for Bertrand to get some lightweight lumber.

I complete the side quest uncovering the monster's secrets for the apothecary.

I complete the Earth Elemental Research side quest to obtain yellow slime jelly.

I complete the Stowpack durability test for Jashan.

I complete the Go Get My Knife Sharpened for Preta.

I complete the Staying out of Outlander Lane for Shanaya.

I complete the Meal for Karina quest.

I catch a fish to complete Angler's Pride for Yuga.

I complete My Grandson's Favorite for Aradhya.

I also get the travelogue for Home is Where the Heart is.

I then advance up Snowpeak and get to the ice crystal that is blocking our path. Isha knocks it down to complete this quest.
