Electrify DoT Paladin (Aurelis) Multistrike/Smite, Heavy AoE (Last Epoch 0.8.4C)
216This Paladin showcases the new Unique Sword introduced in Patch 0.8.4, Aurelis. This is an Electrify build, focusing on ramping up high amounts of Lightning Damage over Time.
We are using Multi-strike to proc large amounts of Smites, which then proc additional lightning bolts - all in all, spreading out large amounts of DoTs across packs of enemies and bosses.
We use Lunge, specced with a focus on Cooldown Recovery in order to quickly run from pack to pack in Monoliths, as well as reposition frequently in Arena settings.
Holy Aura gives us a nice split between extra Damage and Survivability. Giving us global Ignite, which all gets converted to Electrify by the Smite tree. As well as picking up some extra Attack Speed, Elemental Resistance, Endurance, and Block Effectiveness.
The final featured here is Volatile Reversal. We use this to help with repositioning, gaining the global 30% Attack Speed, Movespeed Buffs, and debuffing enemies with the 30% more damage taken from the rifts.
Sigils of Hope is also featured as an option in the video for people not comfortable with Volatile Reversal, or players that would rather opt into more damage at the cost of mobility.
