o7 Cmdrs. Here we have something a little unusual. We're testing the viability of using fletchettes in dogfighting. Fletchettes are similar in nature to remote flak launchers, except the fletchettes bypass shields and damage internal modules

In theory these should devastate an opponents weaponry, power plants, etc. However, deploying these fletchettes is difficult as they have a slow projectile speed and require to pilot to detonate the projectile at the correct time. Failure to do this will result in little to no damage being inflicted.
