Stormhaven Studio, the indy team that made Embers Adrift, which is a classically spirited MMORPG that released in late 2022 has made some major updates since launch, and among all of the progress they have made to Embers Adrift, they have just launched a brand new unique dungeon called the Forgotten Depths. This dungeon features named boss encounters, awesome looking visuals, and a unique feel that makes it stand out from the various other dungeons in the game. And coming on April 1st, this coming Saturday, I'll be playing with the Developers along with the streamers Songbox and Alice Bluu to show off this amazing new dungeon along with other features that just launched to Embers Adrift. I'll be streaming it right here on my YouTube channel and the stream starts at 2pm central, 3pm eastern time this coming Saturday on April 1st! When I have that link available I will share with all of you in all of my future Embers Adrift streams and content. Now let's talk a bit about all of the features that we will be showing off on this special event stream on April 1st in the new dungeon : Forgotten Depths :
Stabilization and optimization improvements : If you played during launch, Embers adrift had some optimization issues, these have been improved ten fold since launch.
Group Elevated Level System or GEL for short : This is the level sync system for Embers Adrift and allows players to group with people higher level than they are to make grouping with friends easier. It can elevate your level upwards of 5 levels, so if you are level 15 and you group with a level 20, you will be made with the stats of a Level 20 allowing you to hit higher conning mobs and be efficient in the group.
Increased Inventory Space : They have added an entire line of inventory space to everyone in both your regular bag and your gathering bag
First Person Mode : You can now go into First Person, now this feature is still being tweaked, so for now your character doesn't render in first person, but your weapons do. It is a great feature for navigating tight spaces or for just looking around the world, or to find the infamous Bluepiter so you can figure out which way true north is
Dynamic Clouds : In Embers Adrift's first step to their upcoming weather system, they have made clouds dynamic instead of static meaning days look different and there are various complex cloud formations that happen in real time.
Feared Mobs can Now Make Trains : That's right, when you fear a mob, it could run into a whole heap of it's friends and cause that good ole' classic chaos
Increased Spawn Rates : Making camps more friendly to more groups
More Armor Weight : THey have increased characters to start with 5 more armor weight and then it progresses the same after each level
New Creatures : We will be fighting fearsome creatures that have just been added to Embers Adrift, but the question you must ask is : Can we survive?
Of course on top of all these things from their update yesterday, Embers Adrift has been pumping out an amazing amount of new content every single month, big BEEFY updates that have included new zones, more monsters, new quests, more named mobs, new dungeons and more. Embers Adrift has grown from a cool classically spirited MMO to a full blown unique experience since it launched.
