01stone Games unveils the first trailer of Unmasked: An Inner Journey, an upcoming meditative platformer that explores the themes of memory and identity. You play as an embodiment of the protagonist’s inner self, fighting against the dark monsters.
The gameplay trailer offers you a quick glance at all 5 levels of the final game, as well as the monsters you will encounter, and the techniques you will use to defeat them. It also shows a glimpse of the terrifying bosses.
The story of Unmasked: An Inner Journey is told without any dialogue. Instead, we can glimpse the situations from the Craftsman’s past through carefully crafted flashback vignettes. Though the game aims to put the players into a contemplative mood, there’s quite a bit of action, puzzles, and even chase sequences. You will fight the eerie lookalikes of your hero and use wind gusts and giant mechanisms to conquer various obstacles.
