9My war against the Comanche culminates in the battle for Villa de Bexar. Fighting native tribes is pretty tough with militia forces, so I have to rely on weight of numbers.
Spanish colonists have become well-established on the Isthmus of Panama and are keen to expand their territories. Islands held by the Pirates and the United Provinces in the Caribbean look like they might offer a good first step, but that will require a navy. So let’s see if I can lead New Spain to glory.
This let’s play is a run through a campaign of Empire: Total War as New Spain, using the Empire II mod. Battle and Campaign difficulty are both set to Very Hard. I try to fight battles more in the style of tabletop war game, with manoeuver warfare and regiments fighting in brigades, rather than the typical Total War style you’ll see elsewhere.
