ENDER LILIES | Part 6 | Hoenir the Keep Away Boss, Finding a Treasure Trove and an Insane New Mob
Starting off straight away with a boss that is insanely tricky. This boss wants his mobs to do most of the damage so in his first phase he throws one dagger and flips away. Pretty easy to deal with. In his second phase he throws 2 daggers, occasionally he will throw daggers downward when he flips away and has a knock back with no damage. This was awkward to deal with and I took a lot of unnecessary damage in this phase mostly from mobs if I remember correctly. The 3rd phase is when the boss gets more aggressive and starts doing a spinning blade flip towards the player. I would say this is easy to deal with but factoring in the increase in mob spawns makes this challenging. The issue is that if the boss flips into you when a mob is attacking then you will get hit one of the attacks. Best option here is to play keep away yourself and isolate the boss as much as possible.
After the boss came more back tracking using the hook for added traversal. I stumbled upon a treasure cove in the witch's coven and then proceeded to fight an insanely strong mob. This mob has a deceptively slow, high damage attack and I died to it too many times because I would dodge early.
