Deep Rock Galactic makes Excellent use of Light and Darkness, really drawing you in, and making you pay attention to anything Sparkling or Skittering on the walls. Use Your flares Dwarf! Even Create platforms with your pickaxe to reach the sparkling horde just out of reach, just glimmering in the dark, beckoning you with their Shiny Goodness. But Beware:
The Horde is Here!
Tunnel away to escape the horde, set up chokepoints, or create a deathtrap for the bugs! The Ore is yours, but you must fight for it, rip it from the very walls as the creatures come at you!
And When the skittering horde approaches, the area gets BlastedApart and changed as the firefight continues, really creating a Dynamic Battlefield to fight for the Riches.
There are 4 interesting and different classes, all Dwarfs of course, with lots of interesting abilities like ziplines, platform creation, flares, deployable turrets, and drilling, plus MiniGuns, Gernade Launchers, Shotguns, Flamethrowers: all are here to aid you in your extraction quest!
Plus, Go at it with Online Multiplayer Co-Op if you wish, though you can always go it alone with your robo buddy.
Think of it as a Sci-Fi Minecraft, with an Excellent use of light and darkness, with Gravity, in an asteroid, with lots of angry bugs, a lot of Hot Lead, Big Explosions, with Dwarfs! OMG!
