Founded by the esteemed C.J. Jones, a trailblazing figure in both Deaf and mainstream entertainment, with support by Troy Kotsur, Marlee Matlin, Shoshanna Stern, Craig Mazin, Rosie O’Donnell, Andreas Deja and more. This festival marks a pivotal moment in cinematic history by showcasing the diverse talents of Deaf filmmakers from around the globe.
SignLight International Film Festival is the only industry-centered film festival exclusively dedicated to the work of Deaf filmmakers from across the United States and around the globe. If you are captivated by Sign Language, a friend of the Deaf community, or an avid film fan, come ready to be immersed in a world of creativity, motivation and inspiration! If you support Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) and are eager to produce or curate authentic works from historically-overlooked communities, join us. All films, panels and other programs will be accessible to Deaf and hard-of-hearing attendees. 195 films from 43 countries will be shared at the festival.
