Breaking news! This morning MindArk announced that Triton Industries shares will go on the Entropia Exchange in December 2023. THIS IS NOT AN ESTABLISHED COMPANY OF ANY TYPE AND ANYONE WHO BUYS THESE SHARES WILL LOSE MONEY!
The announcement was made this morning on PCF and on Facebook. This makes NO sense! Naval Station Triton and Jameson's Reach are both popular places on Planet Calypso but this is NOT a land area! There is no hunting or mining tax which means there is no way for this area to generate revenue!
In addition this area is not popular enough to support passive income! There has NEVER been any sort of company or plan for this area. You can't simply add the word "industries" to the end of something and consider it a business.
This is a obvious attempt by MindArk to fool their real world investors and player base alike. If they can get unsuspecting players to buy these shares they can try and convince the real world shareholders that they have more revenue or income than they actually have. They can also try and pass it off as growth or demand for virtual real estate.
NO ONE who knows what they are doing in this game will purchase even a single share! This is just another of the failures being added to the Entropia Exchange and it will soon have a fate same as Ancient Greece Shares and NTI Shares. The first still hasn't sold out and the second is selling at a 20% discount just so people can offload them at a huge loss.
MindArk needs to stop trying to pull the wool over peoples eyes and do their actual job! Create content that leads to mark up and demand while advertising the game and bringing in new players!
It's actually worse than that. This is blatantly illegal. This is EXACTLY what consumer protection laws and SEC regulations are designed to stop. If MindArk wants to risk jail time that's on them but we the players have a vested interest in the game and they are putting ALL of us at risk!
Please help us by sending in an official support case stating your position that this is NOT ok!
