A few months ago we talked about the new Smuggler Genetics Lab instance on Arkadia Moon. We get daily Insignia Missions from the Mysterious Traveler NPC and then trade the Insignia's for blueprints from the Mysterious Merchant so we can craft the Particle Sample crafting chain.
There was a major issue that the Particle Sample MK1 - MK5 and the Complete Particle Sample blueprints were not available from the Mysterious Merchant. You had to loot them separately and they were exceedingly rare drops.
This has now been fixed and ALL of the particle sample blueprints are available from the Mysterious Merchant for Insignia's! We have to really hand it to the Planet Arkadia Development Team for getting this fixed so quickly!
We also have two new missions we can get from the Mysterious Traveler! A weekly mission to get 25 mining globals and another weekly mission that requires us to complete 7 daily missions from a potential list of 9 daily missions. We will look at these missions in depth soon but for now we are stoked to have even more ways to earn Insignia's!
It would likely take a dedicated, non uber, player 6-12 months to collect the Insignia's and stack enough blueprints to attempt a crafting run. This is a LONG crafting chain and if you run out of materials at any point you must start over! Players have spent tens of thousands of PED trying to craft this mission chain in order to get a Pure Particle Sample MK4.
The Pure Particle Sample MK4 must be turned in one time to unlock the Smuggler Genetics Lab instance. This is a one time thing. There is a cost when you enter the instance which varies depending on if you are a smuggler or non-smuggler but unlocking the instance itself is a one time event.
