Today StevieB is on a mothership doing some repair skilling with his RK-0 getting those sweet defense and crafting skills while taking some time to relax after Christmas Mayhem 2021.

Today we look at the difference between Loot Composition vs Loot Return. Loot Composition is what we get in our loot; not how much loot we get. This is important because the stuff in our loot is what we sell for MU to other players and is likely our biggest goal.

We know that Loot Composition is largely dependent on two things: How high is the efficiency of our weapon/ overall set up? What are we hunting and what kind of items does it drop/ have in its loot pool?

Loot returns are the overall loot we bring in compared to the amount we spend to get that loot. We know that this is affected by Looter Skills. However Looter Skills are only responsible for about 0.07% per level meaning getting your looter skills to level 100 would only result in 7% more loot.

When calculating loot return we need to remember that Skills are part of the return we receive. Not only because the skills have real value and can be sold but because as we reach higher levels we will get fewer and fewer skills. The game rewards us with both loot and skills so as we reach higher levels and get fewer skills we can expect the game to give us slightly more loot.

We also know that the longer we grind the more likely we are to see out loot returns get close to some of the theoretical numbers MA has put out.
