Eovola Switch Accessories unboxing and review
18Eovola has put together a great set of Switch accessories and here is my review of the kit.
My write up from my Amazon review:
What you get with the Eovola Switch Accessories bundle is a great value!
Carrying Case:
The case is very well built and can hold a lot of stuff.
It can hold the Switch, a couple of extra Joycons, a power bank (sold separately) and six game cartridges.
I like the fact that it can also be used to hold the Switch while playing.
Game Holder:
This is made of good plastic, holds 24 games and two micro SD cards.
Silicon Switch Grip:
A decent grip for playing the Switch in handheld mode.
It can be a tight fit so be careful when putting it on the console.
It makes playing the Switch much easier with the hand grips on the back of the Joycons.
Silicon Joycon Grips/Caps:
These are good for either using the Joycons by themselves or when connected to the Switch.
You can not use these with the exception of the a alog stick caps, in combination with any of the other Joycon Accessories in this kit, so keep this in mind.
Glass Screen Protector:
Great screen protector made of tempered glass.
I ruined mine because I am not good at applying them.
Joycon Controller Grips:
These controller grips make the Joycons feel like actual controllers. They are really good for games that can use a single Joycon and I use them when playing NES games through Switch Online.
They can be hard to remove from the Joycons due to the plastic hook at the top.
Be very careful when removing the Joycons. I would recommend slightly prying at the top hook to remove them when your done using these.
Joycon Steering Wheel Grips:
These steering wheel grips are great for Mario Kart and other racing games.
They are pretty small, so people with larger hands like myself may have a hard time using them.
Would be great for those with smaller hands, and kids.
Joycon Charging Base:
This is by far the best thing in the box.
This charging base makes it really easy to charge the Joycons, up to four at a time.
Just place the Joycons in the slots and then lift back up when they are done charging.
No need to press the release buttons on the back and worry about cramped fingers with this base.
The charging is indicated by a really neat blue LED that shines from the bottom to illuminate four clear plastic pillars.
Mine may have an issue with two of the four charging slots, but will have to do some more testing.
It may just take a few times to get them seated properly, but again more testing on my part will be done.
If you have an issue with this or any other acessory, reach out to the guys behind this kit.
They are very responsive and are eager to ensure you have a good quality product and great experience.
So in conclusion, this is a great accessory kit and well worth the money.
Giving it five stars despite the issue with the charging dock.
Because the issue is a minor issue and the company behind the product is great to work with.
Highly recommend this kit for any Switch owner!
