"Epic Jump Quest" Trophy (Easy & Hard Way) + Golden C.I.D. Hunting - Saints Row IV: Re-Elected
3This trophy confused me so hard because I hadn't played any other Saints Row game before, so I didn't know what 3 Point was. When I looked it up is when I found out about the way to completely cheese it with a flying vehicle, but that's no fun!
When I then realized that running up buildings didn't count as violating the rules, it actually wasn't that hard.
As for the Golden C.I.D.s... I had some reading comprehension failure here. I read the "Destroy 100 C.I.D.s" challenge as "Destroy 100 GOLDEN C.I.D.s", so I just kept doing this over and over to complete the challenge, when the little C.I.D.s (which you see spawn in during that red Objective to put a shield around one of the Zin) would've counted too.
It took me a while to realize it, because on another file I thought my game was bugged because I couldn't find a "Destroy Gold C.I.D.s" challenge, considering I completely made it up in my head lol. It was actually seeing this clip and looking at the Challenge progress that I noticed what the actual name of the Challenge was...
Never said I was perfect! Plus doing it this way might be faster anyway.
Also you probably heard it in the video, but the Gold C.I.D. actually taunts you as you're chasing it. It says stuff like "Why must you chase me?", "Your attempt at stopping me is futile.", "You will not be able to catch me.", and "You should give up this pursuit.". Pretty interesting detail that you might completely miss while focusing on catching the little shit.
I laughed when killing the homeless woman didn't give me any notoriety, because I was like "I guess the cops don't care about her", but then it happened again later in the video so it wasn't quite as funny. No idea why some acts of massive violence go under the radar. Not like it matters much. At this point I have Homies all over the place, and they shoot up the police/Zin even if I'm fucking about in Planet Zin or getting a tattoo. With all the upgrade I bought for them, they're beefy as shit.
Especially if that shit came from Arby's roast beef from the night before. Now THAT's a beefy shit!
