Mission: Help the A.I. Enter the Simulation | New Weapon & Power - Saints Row IV: Re-Elected
3It's time for yet another big story mission, which also means less annoying text commentary on the screen! After helping the mysterious A.I. with his Rifts in the simulation, it's time to finally help him enter INTO the simulation and then download him in a body outside of it.
With that done, this A.I. - known as "CID" - will be able to help the Saints get back the rest of their crew from Zinyak.
The first of those people (and the next mission I'd have) is going to be Matt Miller. We only saw/heard him briefly in my first SR4 video, and even then we could tell that Kinzie DOES NOT LIKE HIM. Hell, one or two of her audio logs talks about him similarly. I'm assuming this has something to do with the previous game. In my opening video, Matt DID say "If I'd known you'd sacrifice yourself like this, well I suppose I wouldn't have tried to kill you.". So there's a bit of bad blood, but only Kinzie seems to be holding onto it or taking it personally.
We also see the Homies doing work at keeping the cops/Zin at bay during this entire mission (both when I was on the building defending CID and when I was at the Nuke Plant), and we get to see more of how intelligence isn't really The Boss' strong suit, but she makes up for it in sex appeal and absolute ass-kicking... to a degree that puts her in the realm of sociopath...
But I'm endeared to her homicidal attitude all the same.
And to add to her list of positive traits, now she has TELEKINESIS! THIS was the power that the first DLC required me to use, but I didn't have at the time. So when I do post that DLC... I spend like a minute looking like an idiot until I figure it out.
That's also why I seem to already know how to use the Telekinesis during the training. It's because I had to use it for the DLC.
Two other new things introduced in this video were of course the Murderbots )which are legitimately tough compared to the Zin we've fought so far), and the Bounce Rifle. I kept shooting the ground to get the bullets to bounce into the Zin because the challenge for Zin kills with the gun said "Only ricochet kills count", but in actuality you just gotta shoot them in general. Doesn't matter how, as long as the shots hit them, and if you hit one Zin the shot will auto-target others with each bounce, so it's pretty OP.
Especially when you upgrade it to shoot TWO shots at once.
