A few days ago, I decided to watch one of my Half Life 2 videos after seeing some of Naturalborngamers'\n\nThe cruddy sound from the game amazed me\n\nOnly today did I remember about the Stereo Mix/What U Hear in most sound cards. It took an hour or two, but I finally was able to find a video on youtube (now in my favorites) to say exactly how to do this in Vista. Now, although I still have the problem of actually HEARING the sound, the game sound quality will be MUCH better!\n\nHOWEVER:\nI have already recorded over 20 parts of the Half Life 2 Let's Play as it was (with the crap sound quality), so the sound quality you hear now will ONLY apply to videos that I make FROM HERE ON. Meaning there will still be a bunch of videos recorded only from the microphone.\n\nBUT:\nAs for How to Fail at Legions: Pickup, I MUST record from the microphone in order to actually hear the voices that will be on ventrillo. Also because voice volumes fluctuate so much on vent, that one voice you can't hear, and the next will bleed your ears. \n\n(PS - It's hailing like hell outside right now... I better get off the computer....maybe)
