Battling these winged wonders is a real challenge, and you only have one chance to get them, so get them at least for Pokedex's sake.

This is the strategy I typically use:

--Put them to sleep (if that doesn't work, paralysis works too; but be warned that with paralysis, the Legendary can still attack)
--Reduce their accuracy (preferable while they snooze)

Once that's done, start reducing their HP until it's ideally a nib in the red zone, then toss away!
