In Epistory, you play a girl riding a giant fox who clears out an insectile corruption from an origami world.
Epistory Typing Chronicles gameplay involves controlling the fox, but beyond that you interact with the world by switching to typing mode where you type out the words over enemies, obstacles and treasure. If you don't type fast enough when an enemy is approaching, it will kill you upon touch.
The story and landscape unfold as you go, with a distinct origami style. The game is split into chapters, with the initial early access release giving you chapter one only. Future content includes three more chapters, steam leaderboards, achievements, more dungeons and lots more.
This Epistory Typing Chronicles gameplay video shows off the first part of chapter one, including the main hub world and the fire-themed first dungeon, complete with final boss-style encounter.

In Epistory you play the muse, a fictional character in a world where everything is untold. Your adventure begins on a blank page, but the world will soon become larger and livelier as you gather inspiration, solve its mysteries and defeat its enemies. From movement to opening chests and fighting in epic battles, every element in the game is controlled exclusively with the keyboard.
