What you draw is what you play in Sketch Tales, which lets you animate your own character - or just feel free to cut about the island, fighting monsters and going on quests!
In this Sketch Tales gameplay video we take a first impressions look at the current early version of the game as it arrives on Steam early access. It already contains the editor that allows you to draw objects and creatures, along with Minecraft-style block construction of structures, fighting weird and funny enemies, exploring and quests.
This version has the first island in the game - many more locations are planned.
Sketch Tales gameplay also includes survival - you need to find food to keep your hunger at bay, plus you'll need to hunt for ways to boost your energy to allow you to create bigger and better stuff. Animals can be deadly, so watch your back!
Sketch Tales plans to be in early access for 9-12 months and will add multiplayer and full-on landscaping in the future.
