I had no idea the mod community had been so busy making 'ol low-poly Quake look so awesome. And this seems to be a great time to check it out -- because the epsilon quake mod collects all the best pieces into a convenient package. It even includes auto-scripts to setup different quality levels. This video was made with the ultra setting. I replaced the the Darkplaces engine with the latest build but the included version ran fine too. I like the alternative soundtrack and sounds, but I prefer the original nailgun and gren-launcher sounds.

Great thanks to the modders who have obviously poured their heart and soul into this game for many, many years!
