Equation is a decentralized perpetual exchange platform that offers up to 200x leverage without requiring sign-up or deposits. It has seen a total trading volume of $295,615,743, with an open interest of $75,865,221 and leveraged liquidity of $596,576,427. Compared to other platforms like Perpetual Protocol, dYdX, and GMX, Equation offers significantly lower liquidation risk and higher leverage, with a maintenance margin of just 0.25% and a maximum leverage of 200x.

The platform also introduces an innovative approach to liquidity provision (LP). LPs can leverage their liquidity, enhancing their capital efficiency and earning both liquidity mining rewards and a share of trading fees. This model is based on Equation's novel BRMM model.
EQU is Equation's native token, with a total supply of 10 million, entirely generated through position mining, liquidity mining, and referral mining. The daily emission rate of EQU is initially set at 10,000, adjustable through DAO governance but capped at this figure.
The platform's roadmap includes the launch of a testnet in September 2023, followed by the mainnet and EQU Fair Launch in October 2023. Position mining and DAO governance are scheduled for November and December 2023, respectively.
Equation's unique tokenomics model combines Fungible Tokens (FT) and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT), aiming to balance the interests of community users, the founding team, and early investors.
