After having a discussion in my discord about gap closers, I started thinking about them a little further and thought that this would warrant a video. Just about every class in the game right now in PvP is experiencing a "skills crunch", where they want to fit more skills on their bar to be more competitive with all build types, but they can't. There was a point in time where skills like gap closers or fear were still valuable even with their GCD's slowing combat a bit.

However, with the meta as tanky as it is, players are making sacrifices to optimize killing potential and a gap closer like critical rush is a convenience that doesn't normally fit.
