ESPIRE 1 | VR OPERATIVE - PSVR GAMEPLAY - WITH COMMENTARY - PART 7 - MISSION 1.6 - THE END

🕹WELCOME TO THE GAMING NOISEMAKERS 🎮
I’m playing Espire 1: VR operative on PSVR and I’m using PS moves and a PS4 pro.
In this video I play some more of the challenges and I finish the campaign, 1.6 Mission, and end the game.
Overall I’ve had fun with Espire 1. But there are issues with this game that can cause frustration.
What it does well is being a very immersive stealth VR game and really emulates Metal Gear Solid style of combat and does it well. You can definitely see the Solid Snake influence. I liked the voice acting and the level design. Also the weapons and gadgets were a lot of fun and quite varied. The length of the game is fair, it took me about 5-6hrs to play through all the campaigns and complete 70% of the challenges. There is replay value and quite a lot if you want to get top of the leaderboards.
The game has 2 major issues, blurry environments and dodgy tracking.
The tracking is not good enough for a game like this and over half my deaths were due to struggling with the tracking. But I firmly believe that this is due to the limits of the moves controllers and one camera tracking, because when Espire 1 works well it’s fantastic.
I can imagine on a high end pcvr set up this game is incredible.
I’d rate this game on PSVR a 6/10, no matter how much patience you have it will become frustrating at times.
The blurring as well is a constant negative throughout the game, and a few times I got motion sickness due to the haze effect in the game, and I wasn’t moving fast or using a vehicle, I was getting nausea when just playing normally. It’s a shame this is an issue as I feel the haze effect is a choice the devs made and not just the PSVR as I’ve only played one other game that’s this hazey.
If like me you see this in a sale, I’d recommend it if nothing else takes your fancy but for full price there are many game that cost the same that are so much better.
