According to Andhra Pradesh, "Space City" in Tirupati will launch private satellites.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu unveiled an ambitious plan for a "Space City" close to Tirupati, from which commercial satellites will be launched. The Chief Minister unveiled a comprehensive plan to make Andhra Pradesh a global hub for technology, encompassing everything from data centers to space exploration. The policy proposes the creation of two space cities, one in Lepakshi and one in Tirupati, because of its proximity to the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SHAR) in Sriharikota. The latter city would focus on the logistics of satellite launch and manufacturing.

Starlink is preparing to launch in India by forming alliances with data centers and telcos.
Elon Musk's Starlink has begun advanced talks with telecom operators, fiber players, internet exchanges, and data center companies in India to build the terrestrial infrastructure required for its launch. Talks are reportedly underway with telcos Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio, and Tata Communications, as well as data center operators Sify Technologies, STT, Equinix, and CtrlS Datacenters. Analysts estimate Starlink's initial investment in India to be around Rs 500 crore.

A production roadmap for 7 nanometer chips in India is provided by the center.
In order to become a significant player in the global semiconductor industry, the Indian government has laid out a plan that includes, among other things, acquiring the technology necessary for India to produce advanced semiconductors with a size of seven nanometers (nm) or more over the course of the next five to seven years. Now, the Tata group is spending about ₹91,000 crores to build the country's first wafer fabrication plant, which will initially make chips larger than 28 nm.

AI-powered urban planning is a joint project between TCS and IIT Kanpur.
In order to use digital twin, artificial intelligence, and remote sensing technologies for scalable urban planning that puts ecological balance, equity, and resilience first, Tata Consultancy Services and the AIRAWAT Research Foundation at IIT Kanpur have partnered strategically. By combining AI-driven modeling with remote sensing and data fusion, the project aims to produce practical outcomes in the domains of mobility, energy, pollution control, and governance—some of the most crucial facets of sustainable city management.

Reliance Jio Enables Pan-India VoNR on Indigenous 5G Core
Reliance Voice over New Radio (VoNR) services are now available throughout India thanks to Jio's deployment of next-generation voice calling on its fully domestic 5G Standalone (SA) core network. Senior Vice President Aayush Bhatnagar's service makes use of Jio's proprietary 5G SA Core and IMS-enhanced VoNR Core. Jio's tenth anniversary coincides with the launch on September 5. VoNR makes it possible to have high-definition, low-latency voice conversations over the 5G SA network, eliminating the need to rely on 4G networks.
