Since October 2021 we're having Public Bèta 1.42 of ETS2 and ATS that adds mod compatibility to the ConvoyMP feature. That is terrific news, of course and we all want to know how it works and what to do. That is exactly what I want to do with this video. I'm going to explain how it all works.

⚠ BE AWARE ⚠

The moment you start playing around with mods, you know that there
is a risk to corrupt your save file! That goes for playing around with
Steam Workshop mods as for mods coming from third party sources. Always keep that in mind.
The safest thing to do, is working with profile copies. The same thing you should do when you're trying out Public Bèta versions of the
game, you should do now with the mod compatibility of ConvoyMP. It is safe to use different profiles for each person's session you connect to at a regular bases. The reason why is simply because when you remove a lot of mods from a profile/save file, that save file could get corrupted and not usable anymore.
